Pros

EPAM as a organization is great. I've loved it. I never had any issues in EPAM when I compared with my previous companies. EPAM is basically a remote job, provides macbook pro for sure (for devs :) ) No one cares about how many leaves you have taken, no one disturbs you on your vacation.. No one asks you about your personal mobile number.. And basically it is 8AM to 5PM job.. So everything is great.. --- You can enjoy benefits until you get a client, once you are selected in client project and then everything changes as per client

Cons

Depends on client project, otherwise it is manageable.

Pros

interesting projects friendly environment stable business

Cons

your vacation must be multiple of 7 days (7, 14, 21, etc) there's an annual compensation program but you have to collection tons of feedback in prove you worth it even if you are great at your work which smells greedy

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad your experience at EPAM was marked by interesting work, a supportive team and the stability our business provides. We hear your frustration about the annual compensation process feeling burdensome. Our intent is to ensure recognition is fair and thorough, but we acknowledge the process should not feel burdensome. We are actively working to streamline our review systems to make them more straightforward and focused on meaningful feedback. Regarding vacation, the structure is designed to support deep project engagement, but we understand it may not fit every situation. We are reviewing this policy as part of our regular updates to employee benefits. If you're willing to share more specifics to help us improve, we would value a direct conversation. Please contact us at Glassdoor@epam.com. We wish you all the best in your career.

Pros

0. The best part which I remember at last is the promotion process it is the ultimate reason to appreciate the epam system, no biased promotion, no middleman like managers are involved, no approvals or justifications needed from leads , if you have capabilities, if you have knowledge, go for the assessment , a global team will assist you with unified assessment program and interview based on your level and there you go , based on the results you get promoted and hikes are also good in case of promotion, and the look and frustration on yours leads face when he doesn't want you to grow 😀 👍. 1. Work life balance 2. Certain projects with permanent WFH. 3. Flexibility with work hours and wfh. 4. Employees friendly policies, they do care. 5. Pay and increaments is not OK for existing employees but they do pay good offers to new joiners just like every other organisation. 6. No firing and all , these news are fake , maybe just those rarest of rare cases who don't get projects in even 4-5 months only , otherwise I too had spent 2 months after ramp down from my last project , but there was no pressure or stress over it, rather they focus on your trainings , incubation to get you on boarded. 7. Technical interviewers bonuses are good

Cons

1. Certain projects have created a lobby (maybe regional or language specific , so you might face some back pulling if unfortunately onboarded into those project) I can not name the project , but I felt heavy setbacks in every terms whether in growth, work, communication everything, ultimately they had me ramped down by saying client cost cutting 😊, when I constantly raise concerns over Certain things which were not appropriate, but that's fine , even I felt stuck and de motivated there. So it totally depends on the project if you get good project then there is no chance you will leave EPAM. 2. Project allocation interviews are quite advanced or maybe too difficult level , the leads thinks that everyone is master of everything and one aspect which I want to highlight is when org is making people use of AI extensively then why these interviews focus most on syntax , book wise knowledge like you don't have anything in your support while development like stackoverflow, AI or any other help , the expectations in project interviews are too high due to which project allocation gets delayed and people start looking outside the organisation also due to insecurity.
