Pros

This job will give you exposure to large parts of the hospital eco-system, the food is good, and the surrounding area is inexpensive to live relative to the pay.

Cons

I'd say take this job if you want to be a frog that's slowly boiled alive. Expectations can be internally contradictory, where on your team you'll be told two conflicting things at risk of negative feedback from both. Customers are expected to do nothing, and upper leadership, particularly IEs and IDs are relatively useless, because Epic tends to keep around people who are servile, obedient, and uncomfortable with directly challenging BS. As a result, if a customer acts nastily to you, don't expect support. Long work hours, relative to the pay. Good to have done, but the first few years are basically hazing, without any major upside. You'll be told that management is flat. If you ever give negative feedback upwards, you'll learn quickly that isn't the case.

Pros

Epic pays very well, and gives you a good amount of flexibility over which projects you decide to take on, outside of your customers.

Cons

However, if you get a bad customer, you are stuck with them, no matter what. Management simply does not care. Moreover, sometimes this leads to a situation of being extremely overworked.

Pros

EPIC is growing and the marketing/demand generation team are expanding with that growth. There is a culture of putting highly capable people in every role and trusting each other to get your job done. A true team atmosphere.

Cons

Success based on clear goals is the main measurement (not effort) and each role is expected to contribute meaningfully to overall success. This means a high degree of personal responsibility, which some can find to be a lot of pressure.
