Pros

Gas was reimbursed as well as other travel related expenses. You can fly to other states and the firm gives you a good per diem for breakfast and lunch. * You get a lot of experience working in multiple clients, so you can see different company cultures/offices/perks and the technologies each company uses. *Set promotion schedule

Cons

*Work life balance is a joke. But this is supposedly typical at all big 4 firms. Not worth the pay. *Work content is boring. A lot of copy and pasting. Not for people who like their souls. *Brown-nose/frat/sorority culture *You do not get to rotate between different departments of Big 4, even within your specialization. Even if you ask. *A lot of Partner brown nosing. If there is an after work function, you're unofficially expected to go. You leave when the Partner leaves.

Pros

I really enjoyed working at EY as an intern. I worked with various clients such as healthcare and tech companies and I got to see how different companies work. Some of the work was monotonous but it didn't require huge brain work and my days were fairly routine. Pay was over $25/hour and the employees were very smart and the culture was super fun. We had a few social events such as golfing and we got to go to Orlando, Florida at the end of the summer for the Leadership Conference and for Disney World. EY also paid for a lot of lunches. I got an offer towards the end but I'm still a little nervous about the dreaded busy seasons, which I didn't get to experience.

Cons

There were slow days since it was during the summer and I spent two weeks at one point just hanging around the EY office. This is hardly a con for me though.
