Pros

Some of the Benefits are good. The vision and Mission of the firm is good but is not met.

Cons

Management, always passes the blame. Creates a hostile, oppressive environment. HR reps are no help. Management does NOT like to promote African Americans. Group politics, I can go on... Don't be surprised if there is a whistleblower or EEOC claim filed, or either EY ends up in the media.

Pros

Maternity/Paternity leave - 16 weeks 1 extra paid day off with every major holiday (excluding Christmas & New Year). For example, if July 4th falls on a Monday, you get paid the Friday before that Monday off. You also get the actual holiday off (paid). Fitness reimbursement up to $500 a year. The company is socially responsible. It supports organizations like the United Way, American Heart Association, March of Dimes and so on.

Cons

The pay scale sucks for those at the staff level. The best thing to do is to not accept a bad offer when you get hired. It's hard to get a decent increase in pay when you start low. When you move from one department to another, they consider it a lateral move and keep you at the same pay (even when the rank is obviously higher).

Pros

good health and safety benefits.

Cons

- do yourself a huge favour and decline their offer if you've got one! - basically practices run their business with lies to client and to employee - ridiculously long hours are expected! - extreme top down culture where the partner/executive director gets to do all they want and employee are supposed to shut up and follow what they are asked to do! - quality of work is not a matter of discussion "just deliver sth and steal client's money" then try to hide the quality of work by pretending to be nice with the client - a lot of unethical actions go by without being seen just because if as an employee you let the higher up know about it, they'll likely get rid of you! - cold culture: no one ever talks to another one on the floor unless they work on the same project - inside my team there was a lot of gossip going on which is really unfortunate! - biggest value in the firm is being able to lie and pretend without a hitch - I can go on and on about how this place is a disaster of business
