Huge Firm

Pros

Reputable reputation. Offers training. Big network. Opportunity to take up work above your rank.

Cons

Because it’s such a huge firm it very easy to get lost and feel like a number. As a staff, you’re bounced around like a hot potato filling in big or small needs as they come up. So sometimes staff are stuck doing small tedious items and never really seeing the start and end of projects. However, if you’re a good performer teams look to keep you and may roll you over to all their other projects. Which is great, if you like the team and work. BUT if you don’t and want to try new things, it’s very very hard to switch. Also, good work is rewarded with more work.
