Pros
EY is definitely by far the best out of the Big 4 Accounting Firms. Several of my friends work for other Big 4 but their companies don't offer the kind of benefits that EY offers. Recently EY has launched two new funds, the Wellbeing Fund and EY WOW (Ways of Working Fund). The WOW fund allows you to expense up to $800 in a calendar year for things like commuting costs, pet care costs, and dependent care costs. You also have the wellbeing fund which reimburses 75% of cost up to $1000 for things like traveling, meal delivery, gym memberships, even gaming consoles and accessories, and more! On top of your normal benefits, these of course are just a glipse of the benefits that EY provides and theres so much more.
Cons
EY is a big company and offers accounting and consulting services to very big clients and sometimes the work can get complicated. As people say, "working for a big 4 is like drinking from a water hose," because there is so much to learn. However, I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing because you get to a wide range of experiences and work with clients that you wouldnt be able to elsewhere. In addition, the ample support you have from the people at EY alleviates that stress and allows you to gain confidence in the work that you bring forward.
