      Pros

      Specific to Aerospace - Ethics take priority - Decent pay compared to market standards - Decent learning beyond senior Engg. Level - WFH (3/2) provides flexibility

      Cons

      Specific to Aerospace Senior Management (India) - No decision making capacity with regards to product development. Authority lies with the engineering management in the plants. This hinders the speed of new development efforts with regards to multiple approvals / reviews that are required - Multiple levels of managers who do not have technical expertise but are tasked with leading product accountability. This leads to inefficiency with actions that do not have any long term or short term business impact - Constantly changing goals including initiatives with a ton of metrics with little to no alignment with businesses - Multiple stretch efforts for initiatives with an unsaid expectation of working for a minimum of 12 hrs a day. This takes away much needed time from solving technical issues that support business objectives - Micromanagement through constant reviews and follow ups in the name of help provided

      Let’s start off with saying this is the most toxic, hostile work environment I have ever worked in, everyone is out to get you. Management and the union are too involved that nothing gets rectified. They only “help” certain people, rules only apply to certain people and having seniority only matters in certain circumstances. “Quality” isn’t their number one priority like they preach, (which should be while making life saving equipment) and management has no idea what is going on, and they will own up to that. Sales and buyers are just out to get their loaded monthly checks while the IPT’s are working long hours with no benefits. Health insurance is garbage. Think twice before applying to this company.
