      Pros

      Benefits, publicity looks awesome, life-work balance. Community involvement was good when I was working there. Hope is better now. Weekly meetings. Just that missing the point, which was to catch anything not going right...

      Cons

      "Culture" of seniority over productivity, efectiveness. Tje manager was very close friends with the seniors and preferred to listen to them than to the new guy. Sad. I denounced bullying and abusive behaviour of a few of the seniors, but it fell into deaf ears. Called the ombudsman and nothing happened. Got sick just thinking of going there the next morning. Became depressed and started getting late to work, which was cited as one more of the reasons to get fired. Started taking antidepressants because of all that.

      Pros

      Decent, good people; some talented people you can learn a lot from; pedigree in Aerospace hardware design is useful; you will be asked to do a lot, meaning you will see the bigger picture of the business.

      Cons

      Lack of innovation despite many leaders best efforts; Narcissistic leadership; Poor work/life balance; Safety and quality play second fiddle to monthly shipping targets; A company that wants to be the best but behaves impulsively with little long term focus at the lower levels (business units). Shows a trend of stretching its workforce to the point that overtime is perpetual - it is constant, even for new hires.

      Pros

      Great company culture of hard working people. They hire from within and seek to find talent among their people. They also offer extensive training and resources to all their employees. They pay very well.

      Cons

      Honestly, the only reason I left was because I initially wanted to work in another industry, otherwise I would have stayed and would return to now.
