Pros

Pay and benefits are pretty good for the area. Stable job, decent hours. Tuition assistance program, growth opportunity.

Cons

Lots of gossip, harassment, toxic work environment. They’ll say you can WFH after 90 days but it’s not guaranteed. If you stand out from what some of the senior employees deem okay, expect to get talked about and for management to join in. Have certain diet restrictions? You’ll be made fun of. Wear something different that’s not in violation of dress code? You’ll be made fun of. Co-workers have had yelling matches, elderly co-works are allowed to yell in others’ faces with zero repercussions. When a co-worker made some inappropriate comments management told me the co-worker was just trying to make friends, even after multiple complaints from multiple employees. HR that is available to you is not on site. HR that is on site is only for the factory workers. Inconsistent polices & policy changes with little to sometimes no communication. Lots of conflict between co-workers and between management.

Pros

Full benefits like health insurance and 401k. 1 week unpaid personal time available immediately. Two weeks paid vacation time after first year. Safety shoe allotment yearly.

Cons

Upon receiving two weeks vacation time five of those days are regarded as personal time. Three weeks at 5 years and 4 weeks at 15 years of service. No sick days and no consideration for anything else that may arise. Little to no training
