To many of the old Cooper management still in place. True changes never last.

Stable company to work for with great benefits including paid gym. Eaton University is a good place to learn new abilities. I am very proud to be part of Eaton.

Cons

Not good at paying for the risks you face at work. Does little to recognize your extra efforts. It is as political as any other company. Not much latest research on Electrical Side.

Pros

Good job of promoting continuing education and training. As a huge company, there are lots of resources available for training. Pretty good interest in your future career path and goals.

Cons

They are too lean in the wrong places. Every department is short-staffed and they usually take forever to replace people who leave. Development projects had too much focus on "the schedule" and not enough focus on improving the processes and/or products. Promotions are slow to come.
