Eaton's workforce is committed to doing business ethically and 'the right way'. I am proud to have a career and with them. Managers are in continual review of your progress professionally and personally and are always in tune to making sure you are being challenged and are going after every opportunity for success possible.

Cons

As with any large company, you must be sure you befriend coworkers in other locations to be sure they support your initiatives when you need assistance.

Pros

Used to be a good place to work, but that really doesn't mean anything now. Eaton is a good company if you are an investor because they will do anything, including treating employees like trash to make the books look good.

Cons

Where to begin? Incompetent leadership seems to be a way of life at Eaton. We get ethics rammed down our throats but rarely see it demonstrated at higher levels. The outsourcing at Eaton is a big joke. Quality and community support take a back seat while supplier business is solely based on the lowest bidder. No raises, a month off without pay, massive firings and suspension of the 401K match have made for an interesting year at Eaton. Years with record profits bear no fruit for the employees.

Pros

The hours are great, the day is broken up nicely between 2 breaks and a lunch. I work in a pretty intimate warehouse with only about 25 employees wich could be a pro or a con.

Cons

Management positions seem to rotate every 2 years or so, as if the managers are being trained for something else, so the attitude always seems to be one of indifference when issues are brought up.
