Pros

Currently, there is no mandatory overtime, which is great for us salaried employees. Solid leadership team, and we get along great with our peers.

Cons

No personal time/sick time. Only 2 weeks of vacation time is allotted at the start, but you have an option to buy an extra week of vacation.

Pros

Career Potential: if you are driven and a little flexible, you will have plenty of opportunities for advancement and growth. This may require moving and taking a role that isn’t perfect from time to time - but if you are open minded and your personal situation allows you to try different things you can and will go far. Great Colleagues: Eaton has a few bad apples as most companies do, but generally the people I’ve gotten to work with have been great. The best was I can describe it is that Eaton tends to hire people who are quite intelligent and driven, but laid back and approachable. Most people here are extremely helpful, and genuinely want to see the company and each other succeed as opposed to trying to get theirs first. I’m sure other companies are capable of getting this right, but working with people who have my back and are enjoyable to work with make working at Eaton a pleasant experience.
