Pros

They have a nice campus

Cons

No employee advocacy Organization is riddled with incivility. Managers can be hostile and even harass employees but regularly get away with it. HR isn’t there to help anyone but the business. Lack of competitive pay Lack of work/life balance

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take these types of concerns very seriously. As reflected by our various employment policies, Edwards is committed to maintaining a professional workplace, where employees are treated with dignity and respect. If an employee believes there has been a violation of Company policy, we ask that they report such concerns to their manager, another manager, any member of the Human Resources Department, or even anonymously through our Edwards Integrity Helpline. We genuinely care about our employees, and reporting such concerns provides us with visibility and the opportunity to address these concerns and improve the employee experience.

Terrible Culture

Pros

The company had impressive perks, including a beautiful cafeteria and atrium for large group meetings. There was never an issue about spending money on travel or anything else. Salary and benefit packages were very generous.

Cons

Systems were horrible at best. No two software systems worked together and none were intuitive. The same applied to procedures. Management attitude was to work evenings and weekends to compensate for the horrible systems rather than do anything at all to address them. Management culture was hyper-political, cut-throat and including many inexperienced managers who micromanaged as a reaction to intense pressure from higher-ups.

Pros

Edwards has the best Transcatheter Heart Valve products and deep product pipeline.

Cons

There’s no professional development in this division and part of the reason for that is that management does not have the time or desire to develop the talent they currently have. When positions become available they commonly seek from outside the company vs. promoting from within.
