Treat Production People Better!

Pros

Benefits (vacation, medical etc.) unless you are a temp then you are entitled to nothing.

Cons

Treat production employees as well as office employees - supplies (plates, cups, clean break rooms, a treat every now and then wouldn't hurt). It was ridiculous the differences between the two groups - like a case of the have and the have nots. Some office people were rude to production (can't even open the door even though you are pushing a cart). Without production employees you wouldn't have a company!

They need dorms for employees! You live there!

Pros

Pros? Well the thing about "good" benefits is that if you need to use them then that means something wrong is happening in your life. Benefits are one of those things you never want to have to use. So ya benefits are ok but most employees make less than 30k a year even after working regular overtime every week.

Cons

Long hours! 10 hour shifts and mandatory overtime. Not only are the hours long but the shifts themselves are bad. Get use to going to bed at 7pm so you can get up at 3 am and work till 4 pm then drive home around 5 to find yourself with 2 hours a day to your life. If you have a spouse do them a favor and get a divorce. If you have children do them a favor and put them up for adoption. Many of the employees have been working there over 20 years and have never moved up. Let that teach you something now.

Pros

They do offer good benefits.

Cons

New management doesn't have a clue how to fix the issues the company faces. Because of recent moves, trust in upper management is at an all time low. Working 60 hour weeks is the new 40.
