Marketing is a mess - Anonymous employee AMD Employee Review

Marketing at AMD is a hot mess. Zero leadership from the CMO, unqualified and poor managers promoted, wasteful spending as a result of poor planning and lack of vision, few opportunities for advancement, and a delusional party line from marketing leadership that insists we are the best of the tech industry. I feel like I'm in a really poorly run cult and dream of quitting every minute of every day. Everyone I know is only staying because accountability is low and the stock price is rising.
