good work experience in role to allow me to further my career, hopefully outwith the trials and tribulations of retail.
Cons
Underpaid and under appreciated for the work done. We're expected to have expert advice and work under intense pressure and time limits. We get paid the same as the average punter behind a checkout. Nothing is glamorous about it. As soon as i've found another job i'm out! Worked in asda for almost 5 years and in the 'personnel' department for a year.
