Pros
Benefits Salary Bonus Equity and equity conversion time "Published" culture. I was hoping the role, or at least the company, would be my long-term, last employer. I really liked working there and with the people who were my "customers", peers and others.
Cons
Individual Culture: You're at the mercy of your manager. If you have an issue with your manager, you lose. Neither HR nor "neutral" ER will help. ER processes are hidden, non-transparent, despite requests for information. Leadership talks about having budgets to address the "real issues" but in the end cuts are made rather than addressing them.
