      Pros

      Leadership is dedicated to making this a world-class bio-pharmaceutical company (the best of bio-tech and pharma) - Big, but seeking to be agile. Also we are committed to targeting some of the most debilitating diseases with high unmet need - quite a task and more exciting than working for a company that's making the next "me too" drug.

      Cons

      Location - North Chicago is NOT Chicago... it's basically Wisconsin.

      When I was hired by AbbVie I sold my home and relocated to comply with their mandatory office days. A week after I sold my home they did a reorganization of my department. My hiring manager was forced to retire, my mentor was moved to another team and the work stopped coming in. I was laid off shortly after. I’m now experiencing housing instability. Thanks AbbVie!
