Communication from and between supervisors is atrocious. No one has any idea what’s going on and everything is the fault of the analysts.
There’s a complete imbalance between workloads with some analysts run into the ground and others barely having anything to do.
Sample management is a joke.
Having everything paperbased in this day and age is beyond comprehension. Certain teams have to write results into multiple locations and are reprimanded if they miss one.
All of the cupboards in the lab are filled with expired solutions and then there’s always complaints of no glassware.
Equipment does not work properly but testing is scheduled for it anyway.
Multiple times work was scheduled when the testing was already complete.
Complaints to analysts from management about communication when they have the worst communication skills I’ve ever come across.
HR/Payroll/admin team are a joke. Advised multiple analysts that they wouldn’t be being paid for a month and weren’t going to do anything about it. Several team members have never received consistent pay and have missed out on several hours of wages. Many new starts this year were paid shift allowance in error and the company just claimed it back in one sum.
Onboarding is farcical. Waited over 3 months to get access to systems required to do my job properly.
Data integrity issues all over the place.
Safety is not a primary concern for any of the management… they’re worried about numbers not people getting home safely. No explanation of how waste works and have the most confusing waste system I’ve ever encountered.
I could go on, but I guess that covers the main points.
