      Pros

      AbbVie provides great opportunities to train their employees to succeed. As a new manager, there were many courses available on situational leadership, mentoring/coaching and interviewing skills.

      Cons

      Like all big companies, sometimes politics trumps logic. There are well run groups and poorly run groups. Do your homework so you know which one you are getting into.

      Pros

      I learned a lot while working this job. The systems like Veeva and Workfront were difficult to learn at first, but once I got the hang of them it was great. There were a lot of great people working around me that wanted to see me succeed.

      Cons

      Working as a contract worker had it's cons. At times, it felt like I was a little bit of an afterthought in the company with some superiors because I was not a full time employee. Communication suffered at times as well.
