- No access to cloud technologies (big no-no for public sector) - Learning value quickly plateaus as public sector clients are not advanced and therefore projects tend to be of the same vein - Both clients and team management are trying to squeeze you dry - Terrible bonuses (<1 month for most) - More time spent on administrative project matters than actual technical work - Team lead is not technically trained and fails to scope projects properly, underestimates man-days and is unable to evaluate quality of work
