Pros
*Big international projects *Great start for people new to the industry *Mostly a good work-life balance
Cons
*Promotion system and salary increase is a joke at mid-senior levels - they emphasize how it is merit based but really it is fluff and does not seem to matter what you do. With exceptional project feedback every cycle indicating you are already taking on next level responsibilities, all of the training roadmaps finished and having out of project activities (contributions) done - still you can easily get passed over for promotion for many cycles even when you have been at same level for many years. Nothing makes one feel valued and loyal to the company as always having A++ reviews, high responsibilities, and then getting paid after 5+ years same as other big companies pay for a junior devs with 1 year experience. * One can get a higher salary if you quit and then rejoin as they are willing to pay more to new joiners than people who have already done great in their company. *Junior-heavy projects - most projects seem to always be full of very junior people with few senior developers. Enormous strain on senior developers to train up new hires/interns and and the same time keeping project delivery on track
