Pros

work from home is available.

Cons

Radom Stream allotment will destrog your career and future goals! As a recent graduate at Accenture, I've experienced the unpredictable nature of stream assignments firsthand. Streams are allocated randomly, regardless of educational background. For instance, civil or instrument students might end up in roles like Java or Cloud, while CS and IT graduates could find themselves in Finance, Sales, R&D, or SAP MM. This random allocation can significantly impact one's career trajectory. Despite holding a B.Tech IT degree, I found myself placed in the SAP Finance stream, where tasks are predominantly commerce-oriented. Even my teammates come from commerce backgrounds. It's been nearly a year at Accenture, yet I haven't had the chance to write a single line of code from past 1 year. Instead, I've been engrossed in testing finance and commerce projects, which feels like a waste of time. I've repeatedly expressed my desire to focus on development roles and coding tasks, given my technical background. However, the response I received was disappointing. I was told that being a B.Tech graduate doesn't necessarily mean I'll be assigned coding-related work exclusively. I'm expected to continue working in finance, which involves tasks like checking and testing balance sheets, GL accounts, and incentives – tasks that are far removed from my educational background. This situation has been frustrating. Despite my technical background, I'm confined to non-technical tasks. I long for roles that allow me to utilize my skills effectively and provide opportunities for growth in line with my educational qualifications.

Pros

There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

Cons

This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
