Pros
Flexible outside sales role with "potential" to earn significant income, this is a long term sale and a relationship based product. The product itself really is incredible, useful, and something a medium to large size business can leverage to its benefit. I don't doubt the Euler Product or its usefulness one bit. The company has a decent training program and competitive compensation as a mid-level sales opportunity, but it basically stops there.
Cons
Unrealistic earning potential, out of touch and constantly changing management in the California region. This is a company with a lot of money that would rather invest it in gadgets and gizmos for the salesforce to entertain and wow their clients, the silly part is, having your customer sit down and watch a presentation on an ipad is the worst possible way to connect and sell an extremely sophisticated and complicated product. The LA office is located in Westlake Village, which is absolutely insane given 99% of all clients and potential clients are in Downtown LA or FURTHER EAST from DTLA, you're expected to waste hours of work time and productivity visiting the office for corporate rah-rah-rah type conference calls and other silliness, its just a waste of your time and eats up your day. For beginning agents, most of the appointments the baltimore office will set for you, well they are useless, also most of the company intel you have access to is out of date and well, useless. Be prepared to lean on existing business relationships or cold call, which of course is expected, however also be prepared to do battle with senior agents who utilize copernicus (our in house salesforce) to protect and continually hide, potential clients that they have sought out, but haven't tied down. Basically a lot of drama and nonsense per a typical sales office, but they're really good at making you think otherwise.
