Pros
The pay for what we do is decent, as it is under the Finance industry. The list of deals and discounts with other companies is quite large and useful. There are opportunities to move up at the company, however like most places, it is who you know that will get you a position a lot of the time.
Cons
I have become a more cynical and negative person since working here. To the point where I feel like a completely different person to who I was when I started. There have been so many errors from everyone (management, IT, inept consultants) at the company that I have lost all hope for this place, and I do not want to be around or communicate with coworkers. The IT department breaks the systems with each update that it feels like half our job is fighting what they have done over the weekend. This can last for weeks. And yes, I am writing this review as they broke the systems, not allowing me to work for the past couple of days. When new systems are implemented for the smaller teams, there are no instructions/cheat sheets on how to use them from the Project team running the integration, leaving the consultants in the dark and looking unprofessional with customers. And there's barely any communication between departments in general. To add to this, it takes years for anything to change. They are still using outdated systems (in hindsight, probably for the best as IT cannot break those) and consultants are still waiting for a way to check our rosters on our days off without having to load up our computers and wait 20 minutes for our systems to load. This was being discussed when I first started.
