Pros
Brand Name, Perks/ goodies. Amazon seems to be one of the few companies who still tries to act like a start up although is a tech giant. Although there are necessary processes like big company, it also has few way of working very simillar to a startup.
Cons
Everything on the inside if Amazon Specific. It will take you months/a year to just get comfortable with all the Amazon tools for development. Reduces the fast learning curve for freshers/less exp. Plus on leaving you cannot carry forward most of your Amazon specific knowledge of their tools. Although leave and time off is pretty chill and not micromanaged. The expectation is generally high on you, so if you are a responsible engineer, you will work your a** off because of the expectation. Monthly salary reduces in second year and you don't get any stocks till second year.
