I found an org that could accommodate my rigid custody schedule.
Cons
Everything else. Nepotism is the currency the company runs on. The status quo is assume negative intent in everything everyone does. Scapegoating from your direct boss is very real. People are not valued, everyone is a replaceable cog. Your work will not speak for itself, instead, rumors and perception of abilities reign supreme, and environments dictate that visibility of work is very difficult to achieve.
