Pros
I was lucky to have a great and supportive team leader. Your luck there depends on the type of TL you get. Expect to stay there beyond your expected length of stay because you will get very comfortable as most Amex staff do. Great people working there too. Great benefits.
Cons
Prior to this role, I worked in the credit department where the management was so petty that they would check on your location if you reported MC. They'd make you feel like being sick is shameful. Some leaders will base your performance on activities you do outside of work for "visibility". Don't expect to move up the ladder even though you perform well because people up the ladder stay in their positions for a long time. It's a whole chain reaction.
