Pros
AppDynamics is place that has truly changed the career of myself and those around me. If you come in with an appreciative and humble mindset, listen to the coaching from the leadership team, and are prepared to put in the hard-work necessary, then you WILL be successful. Very companies can truly offer that as a promise, and AppD has proven that time and time again. Other pro's include: - amazing people + culture - regular promotion opportunities - tangible "lift" from the Cisco acquisition
Cons
Two "con's" in my mind: 1. experiencing such rapid success can foster a sense of pride and entitlement, and you have to be on-guard against those qualities. Remain humble and recognize the help that others are giving you. 2. It is a demanding / challenging environment. At times you have to prioritize work above extra curricular activities to continue the pace of success you want to achieve.
