Pros
Our people are the greatest! If you love working in groups, collaborating with others, and winning (or yes, sometimes failing) as a team, send your resume because that's a huge part of this organization. Integration is hard for all companies and we have the financial and intellectual backing to achieve our Observability goals! We are not just improving APM (like our competitors are doing), we are delivering Full Stack solutions that will change how companies deliver on customer/user satisfaction and business improvement. The comp package is great - while some may point out mid-range salaries, the full benefits package delivers on so much more Work-life balance is encouraged and that encouragement is backed by supporting benefits Focus on people, local communities, and global issues is at the forefront of our mission - it is great to be part of a company that has an impact beyond its mission as a business
Cons
We are in transition and the change in scope of vision can be a bit elusive right now. New products can overwhelm teams who have historically been deep experts in a specific capability - this results in attrition when not managed well. Joining Cisco was a culture shock and can be a turnoff to some. Turnover has been high as we retool and rebuild to support the future (I don't think this will last, but it is our reality right now)
