      Pros

      You get Apple on your resume. Engineers are nice for the most part.

      Cons

      Apple IS&T is the worst, most toxic environment at Apple. When you work here, you do not really work for Apple, you are like outsiders. It is truly scary that a place like this can exist at a company like Apple. You should not join. Good people cannot fix broken environments. The place is broken because of legacy culture from the top. They will make it sound nice and paint a nice picture with words, but once you get there, you will realize you are trapped in a bait and switch, career suicide. They could get sued for this. Many managers are mean, incompetent, or aggressive slave drivers. Stay away.

      I am inspired by the technical expertise I see at the leadership level. People are collaborative. And the work is really interesting.

      Some business operations processes are not built for scale, causing a lot of wasted effort

      We work with geniuses - in every department, We create innovative products that thrill our customers and create new product categories - who else can say that?

      Cons

      ZERO ZERO ZERO work/life balance. Execs have been saying for YEARS that they understand and will make it better. But in actuality, it gets worse every year! It is obviously top management LIP SERVICE because if they meant it, they could fix it tomorrow. They have hundreds of BILLIONS in the bank. If they REALLY cared about employee work/life balance, they could bring aboard the right number of folks to make that issue dissolve. Sick of hearing the lies. Just don't lie about wanting to fix it, when they clearly DON'T care
