      -salary was decent -free snacks in office

      Cons

      I'm told by the HR person that there will be client projects to work on when I get there. I get there, and there aren't any client projects. I'm just sitting "on the bench" the entire time (2 months), doing unimportant, menial busywork like updating PowerPoint slide decks. After 2 months, they realize they cannot find any real client work for me so decide to let me go.

      Consulting in general is not what it used to be Accenture big brother is quite bureaucratic and obnoxious managing 'profiles' CEO is in London but HQ is Seattle

      Pros

      A really nice office with perks and company culture that come from Accenture.

      Cons

      There is a prioritization with getting certifications and doing a lot of tasks outside of full time client work, just to get promoted. If you are in the bench and it’s a slow season, there is a high risk of getting laid off. You will lose your sense of purpose all for the trendy AI culture. The company thrives on buzz terms and marketing solutions rather than actually solving anything.
