Pros
- Loved the people and made great relationships. - Good opportunity to grow and develop, especially at junior levels. - Good working culture - you're going to work hard in consulting, but certainly a lot better than other consultancies. - Good promotion opportunities for junior levels, but still some improvements to be made (see cons) - Strong leadership that encourages engagement and interaction at all levels.
Cons
- Poor pay increases for fast developers. I moved company and easily made an extra 50% basic salary. This is a common story for those joining at Analyst / Sr Analyst Levels who develop and progress quickly. - Poor promotion opportunities when compared to other consultancies, especially when looking at Con/Sr Con/Manager level promotions. Promotions should be based on high performance, ability, and consistency, not just 'time in level' - Very tech focused if you want to influence and design for a wider ecosystem of business/enterprise as well as tech.
