As noted by others, long-term projects offer a degree of security. However, for those involved in shorter engagements, maintaining employment is a constant challenge. Navigating the often confusing and antiquated job search database is a frustrating task to secure new assignments. Responses from the job posters are scant, at best. Upon project completion, a countdown begins. While the exact timeframe can vary, failure to secure a new role within a specified period often results in termination. This constant uncertainty creates a stressful and unproductive work environment.
