Pros
Good benefits and ok salary. Short Fridays with work life balance being good. A couple of higher management people that are really great to learn from. BAT internal website with career openings around the world.
Cons
Some questionable promotions, not based on expertise and knowledge but on who's children are playing sports together on weekends. You can see some really incompetent people on higher positions. I guess that is the case everywhere. If you are level 34 i think (executive), your promotion path is almost non-existent, because of that there are so many employees on the same level for years. Salaries are transparent, for example you know the range for your level, BUT like everywhere else some people are severely underpaid for the quality of work they give.
