      Pros

      Fantastic benefits and lots of time off...if you can take it. 28 days PTO and the firm is closed from Christmas to New Years. How happy you are here will depend on your small group and if you like the people.

      Cons

      Moving to an open concept work environment with no cube walls and no offices. Work spaces are essentially "hotel" counters with 2 monitors and a phone. Employees have a locker to keep personal items and a few files. Company is paperless, which is very rough sometimes. If your small group works from home a lot that can be ok, but if you have to work in the office, its a bear.

      There actually are great people, but you play manager roulette.

      Cons

      BDO is notorious for promoting people who just never leave. The middle of the road, not great, not awful, people get promoted over and over again. There have been changes every 3 seconds since the ESOP. Terrible communication around change (non-existent). My manager's favorite term was "We are building the plane as we fly it". After 4 years, I was hoping to have more plane built. It was never built.
