      New clean office Free coffee carpet cleaned every evening

      Disrespectful management Bullying by managers accepted behaviours and encouraging misstreatment among employees Low tiered clients which do not fit into 6th ranking in public practice whereas Grant Thornton has better profiled and quality clients. Despite the fact being in the centre of oil and gas headquarter of Canada, not even tier 2 oil companies want to do rely on BDO. Additionally, clients we engaged in are similar to your neighbourhood sole practitioners. Favouritism Low morale among juniors Smart professional leaves

      There actually are great people, but you play manager roulette.

      Cons

      BDO is notorious for promoting people who just never leave. The middle of the road, not great, not awful, people get promoted over and over again. There have been changes every 3 seconds since the ESOP. Terrible communication around change (non-existent). My manager's favorite term was "We are building the plane as we fly it". After 4 years, I was hoping to have more plane built. It was never built.
