French laissez-faire: it's not my problem. They have little competence, no urgency, and no accountability. For them, vacation is the most important aspect of work. French misunderstanding of American business. Provides French -level standards of customer service and quality (low, during European time zone) even when told this isn't competitive with U.S. competitors. French-installed leaders manage upward, not downward
