Unsupportive environment with poor management and communication - Personal Banker Barclays Employee Review

My overall experience at Barclays Noida was disappointing and mentally exhausting. The management has mentally harrassed me. During my employment, I experienced what I felt was an unsupportive work environment, lack of transparency, and inadequate handling of employee concerns. I felt that certain individuals involved in training and management held preconceived opinions about me, which negatively affected my experience and confidence. One of the most frustrating aspects was the way my concerns were handled. After raising issues through the appropriate channels, I spent months waiting for updates and resolution. The prolonged delays created significant uncertainty regarding my employment status, future career prospects, and financial stability. The situation had a considerable impact on my mental well-being. The uncertainty, delays, and lack of support caused stress, anxiety, and emotional distress over an extended period. No employee should have to spend months seeking answers while their future remains uncertain. I also felt there was a lack of accountability regarding the handling of employee grievances. Concerns that were raised in good faith did not appear to receive timely attention, and the overall process left me feeling unheard and unsupported. From my perspective, there were issues relating to: • Poor communication from management. • Delayed handling of employee concerns. • Lack of transparency in decision-making. • Insufficient employee support during difficult situations. • High levels of stress caused by prolonged uncertainty. • Perceived bias and unfair treatment. • Lack of empathy shown toward employees facing workplace concerns. • Weak grievance-resolution processes. • Negative impact on employee morale and confidence.
