Where time stops... - Software Engineer Barclays Employee Review

As a junior software engineer I've found it to be quite a bad place for anyone starting out in development. There's not enough training or mentoring from senior developers. Most days there's nothing to do and I feel like I'm regressing. Development machines are awful (windows 7!!). There's also too much discussion from project managers about who has to this and that when there should just be more DOing.
