Pros
Great work flexibility. Room for personal development. Can drive improvement yourself in some circumstances (very management dependent). Reasonable benefits.
Cons
Use of Blueoptimina. Significant silo-isation between teams. The same politics you find in any large company. Alot of consultants, few perm staff. Poor compensation, you have to move teams or leave the bank to get a reasonable salary increase. Tech staff are second class citizens. Treatment from exec level is very condescending, you're a cost centre not a profit centre.
