Pros

- Free food: They cater food once a week, low, but better than nothing - Work from home Tuesday and Thursday Not much pros here...

Cons

- If you have experience in tech or sales in general, I would not recommend this job unless you are 100% desperate - Pay is extremely low across ANY roles at Barracuda and is well under market value - Quota is very hard to hit and the workload is heavy most of the time. Less than 50% of renewals reps hit their monthly quota. Quota they come up with is outrageous and doesn't match up with the renewal pool you have for the month/quarter. - Super high turnover on the renewals and sales side. No joke, you will see 2–4 people quit per month to go to better companies. Barracuda does not try to retain talent, which is why managers are constantly hiring on the renewals side. - There is basically no work culture here. Most people are just trying to leave as soon as work is over. At my previous companies, there were team building events and team appreciation outings paid by the company monthly. Barracuda is super cheap and does nothing like that. The most they do is bring in a box of donut, some hard seltzers, a speaker, and blast ghetto music in the renewals cubicles at end of quarter. - Managers will force you to come into the office at end of month and end of quarter and will not allow work from home. - There is zero career movement here. - Renewals managers are super unprofessional and I am surprised they are managers based on how they talk and do business. They will do anything to pull in a renewal and do not care if they damage the relationship with end users. All they care about is pulling in revenue now - There is a metrics dashboard that everyone can see. Managers will publicly call you out if you do not hit daily metrics like emails sent or phone calls. If you miss metrics due to a jam packed day of client meetings, they will make you prove your case and also expect you to make up the metrics the next day - Benefits are not good. Healthcare and dental coverage are very low and I had to pay out of pocket at times. 401k match is 4% and capped at $2,500 employer match. They are not a public company so there is no stock compensation. - There is no sick time offered, which is crazy since most companies offer it. PTO is accrued per pay period. If you are sick, you have to use PTO or not get paid at all - Getting time off is difficult. Managers often reject PTO requests and are very nosy. They will ask why you need time off and get all up in your business I would only recommend this job to someone with no experience or no experience in the tech industry. If you have experience, stay away. This place is not worth it and you are better off interviewing at other companies Do not take my word for it just look at other Glassdoor reviews on the renewals side. This is one of the most brutal and honest reviews you will ever read

Pros

Work/Life Balance, Flexibility of schedule and a strong team feel amongst the SA Team.

Cons

Product functionality, vision of leadership team, stale solution set and very difficult to meet quota since you're covering 15+ AE's. You spend a lot of time trying to "save" customers vs. actively selling.
