Pros
- plenty of work to do, including learning opportunities - some really good and talented people to work with - salary okay; probably "good enough" if you're just starting out - benefits average to slightly sub-par - flexible hours (which should be the norm in Silicon Valley) - company is doing well, selling lots of products -- no danger of going OOB
Cons
- sometimes too much work to do, often with not enough resources - for every good & talented person, there are a couple of dead-weights - compensation can be as stingy and rare as with many financial things at the company - no place to sit, no place to park -- both main office locations are full-to-bursting with no plan to deal with it -- what's management thinking? - privately-held, i.e. no employee stock plan
