Pros
Barracuda is a great stepping stone for starting your career in the tech industry. You can learn a lot and get the experience needed to find a better job/career There are some really great and intelligent people that work/worked there. Environment is laid back and casual. Full bar, video games, pool tables, and ping pong tables downstairs.
Cons
Compensation is poor. Raises are few and far between. Rarely received annual reviews. Constant micromanagement. Gossip, drama, cliques....it's high school all over again. You can work extremely hard, be there for years as a loyal employee, and meet quota/metrics, but if you're not on good terms with management and higher ups then it doesn't matter. Only way to success is to find your way into the clique and party with them.
