Pros
Good benefits, great way to get experience in phlebotomy, advancement opportunities (to a point, see cons).
Cons
- Unrealistic goals from corporate that burn out employees and cause long waits for donors as a result of a failure to listen to feedback from in-house center staff - High turnover rate - Low staffing with no corporate push or allowance to continue to hire - Easy to move up but due to high production demands, training is often neglected and advancements are usually stalled as a result. If you're interested in BioLife being your career, it is easier to just get hired on to a higher position externally as they will not prioritize any current employee growth if it takes them away from production. -Employee hours can change at a moments notice, employees can be forced to work overtime and their shifts shortened or cut to meet productivity or center needs.
