Pros
Working for broadcom, you experience the cutting edge technology. work load seems very difference between team to team, people to people. Total compensation is good, expecially before 2008. All in all, it is very good expierence.
Cons
With company today's size, the start up company rewarding style is disappearing very quickly. Significant reward can no longer be distributed to real significant contributors. While project schedule is seeming delayed, some teams are fighting for loading. Recent decision for handling mobile communication chip Bu may be good for businese but most probably not handling correctly, hurt many dedicated employee.
