Pros

Good environment. Lots of stuff to learn. Definitely has one of the best work perks and benefits. Work-life balance.

Cons

No clear way of increasing your compensation. We have a role guideline but it's not clear what really is your value to the company. You can improve yourself based on that role guideline but I never received any significant compensation increase aside from the year-end increase which is basically the value of inflation, if not, definitely close to it. It's possible for you to get additional shares but that is subject to an N-year vestment and that means you need to stay for that long to obtain it which I'm not sure if it's worth it to stay or to look for a different opportunity that would technically give you a value more than what you will get during those additional N years of stay. Basically, I'm saying that I feel I'm not financially secure if I stay here any longer.

Pros

The work culture is amazing and highly collaborative. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new technologies, and the perks/benefits are excellent. The work culture is amazing and highly collaborative. Cons

The company is growing very fast, so internal processes and structure change frequently. Work-life balance can be tricky during big product launches.

Pros

Product is beloved by users. Brand affinity is second to none which makes being a marketer a lot of fun. Genuinely good and caring coworkers who want to build something great. Hiring bar is high. Vibe and Thrive benefit is clever and unique.

Cons

Behind the brand is a cult like culture with the “founders” surrounded by yes people (whether they are aware of it or not). Mediocrity seems to be tolerated among management’s “old guard” causing tension and churn with newer and sometimes more experienced leaders. Insecure leaders at some of the highest levels perpetuate much of the toxic behaviors described in the reviews below such as gaslighting and favoritism. People “disappear” with little to no explanation, but hey, it’s the “Canva way”.
