Pros
The strengths of this company are a wonderful culture, outstanding colleagues (at least, those I have had the chance to work with), and exceptional job flexibility (in my role, at least). The autonomy to make key decisions is a huge boon, and people are generally very supportive. Not to mention, there's dedicated funding for every club you join. The company’s support of its staff and various groups is commendable. In fact, there is even encouragement to explore or apply for other roles within the company. Add to all of this a sleek office and numerous events you can participate in—there's definitely a culture of assistance and growth here.
Cons
The company is facing some discrepancies when it comes to fair treatment and addressing employees' concerns. Some employees have been met with mockery or disregard when expressing their grievances about changes to their compensation package, such as significant reductions to food and utility allowance. The reduction of these benefits has been met with disappointment by employees who are living on a paycheck-to-paycheck basis and rely on these allowances to support themselves or their families just like me. In addition, we believe our feedback is not properly valued. We feel that criticisms or suggestions are often met with dismissive responses, under the presumption that we should just be grateful for what we have. The decision to reallocate funds from universally beneficial schemes to initiatives benefiting only a select few has also been received poorly. Furthermore, there's also a sense of inequality in the budget allocation for various countries with some receiving significantly less than others.
