Pros
Pay is okay, nice product, clubs and social events
Cons
The company’s senior leadership is a toxic group that been put there through nepotism and by licking the boots of the founders, one of which is a thin skinned human with a big ego that doesn’t offer much value to the firm. Nepotism runs through almost all the director+ promotions. Sexual harassment exists and it took some attempts in company blind to push forward with action for one of them. To even get have the company respond on blind, there was so much resistance from nasty employees trying to shut down the conversation and bring it internally so that it didn’t hit the newsin fear it will bring down the stock price. If you are bullied and harassed make sure you document everything. Most of the gaslighting comes from other employees themselves. I’ve seen people being bullied to no end and forcefully made to resign, to outright stalking and harassment outside the office. Canva talks a big story on be good human but internally it is the complete opposite. People taking behind people that they are otherwise friendly with in real life to white anting them and destroying them from within. The company has had a down round recently dropping significantly from its previous valuation. There is no clear indication of an IPO date so no one has an idea when stock will be liquid.
