Pros

Amazing product that everyone globally loves and adores. Big valuation and prime for a nice IPO whenever that will occur.

Cons

The company culture is unhealthy: blame-shifting, lack of accountability, and inconsistent integrity are widespread, making it a very challenging place to work. Communication is selective and inconsistent; key information is often withheld, which sets employees up for failure, and they are then held responsible for the outcome. Sales leadership is erratic and dismissive, frequently operating without accountability. It is concerning that senior leadership continues to overlook and enable this behavior. Leadership focuses more on appearances than results—prioritizing how they are perceived by upper management. They often take credit for successes, but when things go wrong, employees are left unsupported. Morale across the company is low, with widespread burnout. While this is openly acknowledged, no meaningful steps are taken to address it, and there is little concern for employee well-being.

Pros

Product is beloved by users. Brand affinity is second to none which makes being a marketer a lot of fun. Genuinely good and caring coworkers who want to build something great. Hiring bar is high. Vibe and Thrive benefit is clever and unique.

Cons

Behind the brand is a cult like culture with the “founders” surrounded by yes people (whether they are aware of it or not). Mediocrity seems to be tolerated among management’s “old guard” causing tension and churn with newer and sometimes more experienced leaders. Insecure leaders at some of the highest levels perpetuate much of the toxic behaviors described in the reviews below such as gaslighting and favoritism. People “disappear” with little to no explanation, but hey, it’s the “Canva way”.
